Bridgeporth (‘The Company’) is committed to conducting our business around the world through the observation of the highest ethical standards. The Company expects its directors, employees, contractors and consultants to comply with all company policies and applicable laws in the performance of their duties and to adhere to these guiding principles.

A Code of Conduct has been put in place outlining the Company’s values, responsibilities and ethical obligations and provides employees with guidance for handling difficult ethical situations related to the business and the Company’s core values.

The Company benefits from carrying out business in a transparent and ethical way and therefore takes a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption.  It is committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships wherever operations are undertaken.

The company will uphold all laws relevant to countering bribery and corruption in all the jurisdictions in which we operate. However, we remain bound by the laws of the UK, including the UK Bribery Act (2010), in respect of our conduct both in the UK and abroad.

Employees and others acting for or on behalf of the Company are strictly prohibited from offering, making, soliciting or receiving any bribes or unauthorised payments. As part of its anti-bribery measures, the Company accepts transparent, proportionate, reasonable and bona fide hospitality and promotional expenditure, whether given or received.

A breach of these Policies by an employee will be treated as grounds for disciplinary action. Employees and other individuals acting for the Company should note that bribery is a criminal offence that may result in up to 10 years’ imprisonment and/or an unlimited fine for the individual and an unlimited fine for the Company.

The Company will not conduct business with service providers, agents or representatives that do not support appropriate anti-bribery and corruption objectives.

The success of the Company’s anti-bribery and corruption measures depends on all employees, and those acting for the Company, playing their part in helping to prevent bribery. Therefore, all employees and others acting for, or on behalf of, the Company are encouraged to report any suspected bribery in accordance with the procedures set out in the Policies or in the case of third parties to the Company Secretary. The Company will support any individuals who make such a report in good faith.
